The breakfast was comprehensive and hot and served raw scrambled egg. I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, a lounge and a terrace.

The location was gorgeous - next to the restaurant overlooking the Loch, the public areas which included a drawig room, library and bar and an old castle surrounded by wild gardens.

The location was stunning and great, for example, Barmore Island was not very far from the hotel. Staff were eager to help.

The restaurant was nice for both dinner and breakfast here, I had excellent dishes. The location was incredible, the rooms were great-sized and functional. The venue was right by Stonefield downtown.

The breakfast itself was overcooked, can be far better.

A lovely lochside setting, with mature trees and some impressive rhododendrons. Parking is good, with only a short walk to reception. Our room in the annex had a modern bathroom. Food well presented on plates (but see below).
Beds uncomfortable, Too many dogs, some confrontational to other dogs. Bar is too small. Poor dining experience, staff don't serve at table properly (not trained), food served cold on scorching hot plates, and clearly had been sitting for some time.

Good-sized units and efficient staff in such an appalling manner. Excellent food at breakfast served in the dining room. Amazing location - near the restaurant over the sea and the beautiful island, Barmore Island, and the one Taxi.

The classic king room was fairly quiet and luxurious with all modern facilities. The location couldn't be more stunning and marvellous to Tarbert harbor.
